Ambivelent

Was a cute idea, great animation. Just the menu that popped up confused the issue. Took away from the toon.

I dont know what you were trying to say or do with it. You needed to clarify if it was an animator working on a project or it was the child changing his mood or what not.

Could have been a 4/5 only a 3/5 for me because of the menu thing.

Sometimes simplier is better.

Get too fancy and it takes away from the over all toon.

I did see all the hard work you put into it.

dancer4ever responds:

Yeah, the menu was because I as an animator didn't want to have to listen to a recording of myself or a kid screaming over and over and over and over again while I was testing out my animation. Really didn't have any other reason for being there, though I think it would be nice if you could mute kids crying/ screaming.

Thanks for the feedback!

Good graphics, unfortunately the script trashes it

The part where it was just the leaf and scenery was pretty.

But the over all execution of the toon gimped a bit. Pretty much the script.

It was out side the box, different but wasnt really funny because a leaf could really never do that.

Another chap I was helping had the same problem. Good animator but bad script writer. He wanted to do something so off the wall that it became sort of stupid.

You need a bit of "realism" when you do a script. Bugs Bunny is so funny because of the basic plot line. Simple and some what realistic. IE hunter hunting rabbits in the forest. Becomes funny because Bugs fights back.

A leaf would never ever do something like this. I think you should have stayed with the beauty theme, you were trying to combine two things.

Have a squirrel play with the kid or such. Then maybe a pretty sunset.

The leaf fight was alright but then when you went to the police and the scientist it tanked.

Maybe just cut it off at baby getting dunked.

Frycek responds:

Oh, mate...you wrote a long review. To bad it wasn´t positiv. A overall rating: 3?, come on...Realism...well, maybe I try that some time. To short it down? Perhaps, I think that the police-doctor-part, is less great then the rest. But I wanted a ending. It cant just end with the leaf fighting the baby. I hope I´ll do something in your taste some day. Thanks for the comment...

We did enjoy another toon by ye all.

*thumbs up. ;)

Drawing and animation needs a bit of polish, but your on the right track mate.

Very nice

Reminds me of an old rod (sterling) twilight zone episode.

With very simple animation you achieved the effect of eerie, attention getting, thriller.

The confusion in the back ground made it seem that much more real.

Do I have time to get fluffy a manicure before the end of the world?

Very nice using some old black and white footage for added affect.

Now I have to check out the site to see what the heck is going to happen. ^_^

Thumbs up.

See it wasn't so scarey. ;)

Hope to see more of your work.

oh no, the humanity!

Ahhhhhh. Thank ye. It was like a drink of water in a desert of blams.

That was pretty funny.

Its another math movie isnt it?

Its another one of those movies about complex math or sciece or possibly politics isnt it? Im saying that with out looking at the explanation.

The huge problem I have is someone with no knowledge of the subject matter cant get anything from it other than a random toon. Which some of them like.

But alas I expect more. Ye need to explain it better so people know what your talking about.

Sorry middle of the road for this one.

There was a pretty good one about atomic clocks. It wasnt boring but it was informative.

von-Brunk responds:

To be honest, there's absolutely NO hidden meanings in this. This is actually a protest against esoteric art which has some kind of political agenda mixed with it. What you see is what you see; There's no background gags or satires. It's literally a British gumball machine chasing Teddy Roosevelt's bust.

Ugg you need major help writing the script

You have skills as an artist but I turned it off after like the 500th Griffith.

Pretty annoying.

You put work in to it but wasnt very likable in my opinion.

You might get some high marks because of the nudity but its alittle too much for ngs.

You need a lot of polish.

Some elements were funny.

Booyah!

Thanks for mixing it up a bit. Having him interact with more people and have some more intellegent stuff (the fake interview) along with blockhead's random humor helped to balance it. The conscience isn't enough of a straight man to sustain the comic series alone. Um blockhead sort of overpowers him. Heh.

Humm some sort of sidekicky thing would work eh?

Heh.

Sweet.

The-Swain responds:

I can only have the Conscience get punked by Blockhead for so long before it becomes the same old thing (as per Ep.5, which I feared had too much of it). So, I left him out of the episode altogether save for a few, very important roles. I thought that it worked out nicely this time.

I likey

Ye needed some backgrounds. too plain. Maybe just colored or some photos blured or something.

Pretty cute.

You must be one of those bad things that happen to good people.
