for a quickie you sure did a good job. Really efficent and effective animation.

Disagree about it deserving a 4

It was hand drawn and well scripted out. This is not easy to do. The artist needs to work on using the software as the animation was pretty choppy but as far as the toon goes was very well drawn and planned out.

Perfect song choice.

I like the miminal use of color.

Your a great writer man. Nice deviation from the usual. Funny poke at coveting and keeping up with the jones. The only thing that was missing was tags missing from it or one that said Pickachu. ^_^

Obiously you used the traditional story to put a gothic slant on it.

Sort of ruined the beauty of your drawing.

Yes its well told and well executed. But ugly never the less.

Nice but needs work

I can see alot of work that went into it. Unfortuately you needed to move the story along. That long drawn out sequence would work if it was a 2 hour long movie but this was a few minute short.

I just saw the Kirby one on the front page (kirby's dreamland or something) and I enjoyed that more. It kept things moving. And had some funny bits. But the over all polish was no where near as good.

Graphics arent the only thing.

You were trying to build suspence. You did a bit. You lingered too long on him trying to get away and put more work into it than was needed.

Always better to error on the side of too quick than too long. ( I dont mean the blams where they put a couple of slides up to see then its over) I mean in the story or the motions of the characters.

I would say if you trimmed it down by a 1/3rd it would be just right. Like the parts where they arms are trying to get him or he is running or he is struggling. He ran away from them about 4-5 times? Just a couple would have been better.

Anyway would take to long to go over it point by point. But watch a few disney and 3.7 movies with good graphics and see how long they spend on each piece.

Thanks for putting the effort in. Nothing worse than watching something some one put no effort into and expected a 5 out of it.

Well Kirby wasn't that guy's original work. But thanks for the tips none the less. I ws trying to keep it in sync with the music, that's why it was so long. But the song was originaly a wopping 7 min long.
