[Evil Chipmunks:Magic Bean]

Script needs work

Basically your a pretty good animator. Good idea to use the photo for a back drop. The thing is that the story made it pretty boring to watch. But keep at it. I think you will develope good videos over time.

One thing though is the colors of your characters are sort of drab. Looks like a green brown. More pretty chocolate browns or what not would look prettier.

Your on the right path.

Disagree about it deserving a 4

It was hand drawn and well scripted out. This is not easy to do. The artist needs to work on using the software as the animation was pretty choppy but as far as the toon goes was very well drawn and planned out.

Perfect song choice.

I like the miminal use of color.

Fun idea for a super hero. Could have gone horribly wrong but it didn't.

My favorite part was where you got out of drawing another battle scene. Lol

Your a great writer man. Nice deviation from the usual. Funny poke at coveting and keeping up with the jones. The only thing that was missing was tags missing from it or one that said Pickachu. ^_^

Sweet movie

The animation, was well drawn but some how when you put it together in the software, it will run a few frames then get "stuck" on one. Instead of a nice smooth picture.

I could see if you didnt have the glitch what a kick booty production it would have been. Very very well done.

Sound leaves something to be desired. Music was the right choice, you just needed to turn it down when the dialogue started because it drowned it out a bit.

Other than that 4/5 stars for me.

I'm not entirely sure which parts you're talking about there - it might be my transition between 3d segments and single objects in flash, I did this every now and then to keep the file size down but it was pretty hard to get them lined up perfectly. I'm putting more butt into my next one, thanks for the pointer - I'll do it a different way in my next one and try and keep it smoother.

Obiously you used the traditional story to put a gothic slant on it.

Nice but needs work

I can see alot of work that went into it. Unfortuately you needed to move the story along. That long drawn out sequence would work if it was a 2 hour long movie but this was a few minute short.

I just saw the Kirby one on the front page (kirby's dreamland or something) and I enjoyed that more. It kept things moving. And had some funny bits. But the over all polish was no where near as good.

Graphics arent the only thing.

You were trying to build suspence. You did a bit. You lingered too long on him trying to get away and put more work into it than was needed.

Always better to error on the side of too quick than too long. ( I dont mean the blams where they put a couple of slides up to see then its over) I mean in the story or the motions of the characters.

I would say if you trimmed it down by a 1/3rd it would be just right. Like the parts where they arms are trying to get him or he is running or he is struggling. He ran away from them about 4-5 times? Just a couple would have been better.

Anyway would take to long to go over it point by point. But watch a few disney and 3.7 movies with good graphics and see how long they spend on each piece.

Thanks for putting the effort in. Nothing worse than watching something some one put no effort into and expected a 5 out of it.

Well Kirby wasn't that guy's original work. But thanks for the tips none the less. I ws trying to keep it in sync with the music, that's why it was so long. But the song was originaly a wopping 7 min long.

Nice job. Yep we all have to learn how to use it. This was a fun video. Those that want to do something just fun and random check this out. If your going random, more relies on the graphics. You can get away with so so graphics, only if you have a great story and dialouge to pull it along.

Before I read your description, I thought, oh no, crap its Harry Potter meets Numa Numa. Lol. (The black haired guy looks like Harry.)
